The Honors Program at UCCS offers students a choice of two levels of participation: University Honors or Mountain Lion Honors. Students in both programs work with faculty in smaller class settings, thus encouraging them to engage in a collaborative vigorous, intellectual life. This will prepare students for success in their chosen career fields and help students gain admission to graduate and professional schools. Those in the University Honors program are awarded a $1,000 scholarship (renewable for up to four years). Mountain Lion Honors students do not receive scholarship support, but do get the other benefits of participation in the honors program.
