CHEM 330 - Organic Chemistry

Lecture for biology majors and non-chemistry majors taking only one semester of organic chemistry. This is a survey of organic nomenclature, structure, preparations, and reactions. The course includes bio-organic topics, such as carbohydrates, peptides, and proteins, as well as a general introduction to important functional groups.Fall semester.Prerequisites: CHEM 106 with a grade of “C” or higher.
