CURR 5303 - Quantitative Literacy in American Schools
3Credits An overview of essential standards-based mathematics in today’s schools to include effects of building a strong sense of number (number sense), real-world application, and discipline integration on becoming mathematically literate will be surveyed including developing teaching and planning strategies for enhancing quantitative literacy and deep mathematical understanding.
