SPED 5010 - Multisensory Structured Language Education3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
This course focuses on literacy instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. We will study research evidence and strategies for teaching reading explicitly and systematically to students who require intensive intervention. Application will include performing lesson demonstrations. Prer., Praxis or Place Elementary Content Test.
