ECON 2020 - Introduction to Macroeconomics

3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
This course provides an examination of the forces that determine national income, unemployment, and inflation; the efforts of the government and the central bank to manage the state of the macroeconomy; and, the influence of the global economy on domestic macroeconomic functioning. Approved for LAS Social Science area requirement. Approved for Compass Curriculum requirement: Explore-Society, Health and Behavior. Prer., ECON 1010 or consent of instructor.
