ACCT 6110 - Advanced Managerial Accounting

Application of advanced managerial accounting information for planning, decision making and evaluation. Topics of current interest will be discussed and may include analysis of pricing, cost allocation, balanced scorecard and capital budgeting that relate to corporate decision making. This course includes learning through technical content, cases, creation and use of spreadsheets and current scholarly research articles in cost related topics. Prer., ACCT 3110 or ACCT 6100 with a grade of “C-” or better (or equivalent coursework). MSA, MBA, or graduate Accounting Certificate students only.
