Computer Engineering Minor

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department offers a minor in Computer Engineering. The minor provides students with the ability to formally supplement their study in other fields with a rigorous computer engineering background that will enhance employment opportunities after graduation.
General Requirements
The minor in Computer Engineering requires the following:
- 27 credit hours of coursework.
- A minimum 2.0 GPA, with a grade of C or better in all courses applied to the minor.
- A maximum of 9 credit hours of transfer work may be applied to the minor.
- Residency: the last 16 credit hours of the minor must be completed while registered at UCCS.
Note: The Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering minors are designed for students enrolled in degree programs outside of the ECE department. Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering may not declare either minor.
