Extended Studies Academic Outreach offers a variety of continuing education, professional development, and high school programs. All courses are developed in collaboration with UCCS departments and faculty.
Mission
Our mission is to extend the resources of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in non-traditional ways by providing high-quality education, training, and professional development opportunities to the community, state, and nation.
Programs Offered
Continuing Education and Professional Development
A variety of continuing education and professional development courses are offered for unique audiences such as educators and healthcare professionals who are looking to enhance their education background and experience.
Non-Credit Audit
Regular session on-campus and online audit courses are available for enrollment on a space-available basis. No academic credit is earned; however, the audit program provides an opportunity for lifelong learners to share in the vast and varied resources of the University at a minimal cost.
High School Programs

UCCS partners with Colorado high schools to give students Concurrent and Dual Enrollment opportunities, allowing them to earn academic credit while still in high school. High school students can take courses on campus, online, or through unique programs like CU Succeed, Project Lead the Way, and Teacher Cadet.
