The post masters Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree allows the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) leader to attain a terminal degree in nursing practice. Through this course of study the DNP, APRN will have further tools to translate evidence-based research into practice thereby improving their patient outcomes.
Admission Requirements
- Master of Science degree in Nursing from a Nationally Accredited Nursing program
- Graduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license from the state where you practice during practicum rotations
- National Certification as NP or CNS
- Passing score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) if your native language is not English or if your BSN program was not conducted in English
- Submission of all required application materials by posted deadlines (all required materials are listed in the online application)
