General Requirements

The minor in Aerospace Engineering requires the following:

at least 20 credit hours of coursework
a minimum overall GPA of 2.0
a minimum grade of “C” or better in all courses taken for the minor

The student will be responsible for any prerequisites to required courses. Only 6 hours of transfer work may be applied to the minor.

MAE 5131 - Computational Fluid Dynamics
MAE 5140 - Compressible Flow
MAE 5145 - Hypersonics
MAE 5391 - Rocket Propulsion
MAE 5419 - Trajectory Optimization
MAE 5424 - Spacecraft Attitude Dynamics and Control
Note: An MAE 9000-level course may be taken for an elective with prior MAE Department approval.
