Biochemistry, BS

The BS in Biochemistry is designed for students wishing to pursue careers as professional biochemists or attend graduate school in biochemistry.

The BS degree requires a minimum of 58 credit hours in chemistry. No more than 60 credit hours in chemistry may be counted in the 120 credit hours required for the degree.

Students are required to select 12 credit hours of electives in chemistry. Up to 6 credit hours may be from:

• CHEM 4904 - Research: Upper Division
    and
• CHEM 4905 - Internship: Undergraduate
