This certificate program provides local government managers and students with opportunities to improve the quality of local government systems in Colorado. The certificate focuses on innovative management and policy techniques and provides the School of Public Affairs with the opportunity to partner with local government agencies as a workforce development partner. Further, the certificate is designed for people interested in or around a professional career in local government who may also become interested in enrolling in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program. This certificate program meets Department of Education regulations for gainful employment programs; students are eligible to apply for financial aid.
