ASTR 1060 - Astronomy of the Universe

3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
The methods and results of modern astronomy (solar systems, stars, galaxies, black holes, quasars, cosmology) at an elementary level. Students are highly encouraged to also register for one or both of the lab courses, ASTR 1090 and ASTR 1100, to gain practical experience in Astronomy. Approved for LAS Natural Science area requirement. Approved for Compass Curriculum requirement: Explore-Physical and Natural World. GT-SC2.
