Computer-Based optimization techniques including simulation, modeling, heuristic methods, genetic algorithms, simulated annealing, duality theory, dynamic programming, and queuing theory. Prer., ECE 1021 or CS 1120 or CS 1450 or GDD 2200 with a grade of “C” or better. Meets with DASE 4570.
