GES 1560 - Introduction to the Environmental History of the U.S.3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
Course surveys American history from the colonial era to the present, highlighting the ways the natural world and human action intersected and shaped historical change. Students explore topics linking the environment to race, class, gender, labor, leisure, conservation and sustainability.
