HIST 1575 - History of the American Southwest

Looks at the history of the American Southwest region defined by its arid environment and cultural interactions. The course will explore the distinct periods of the Indigenous inhabitants, the colonial Spanish legacy, the Anglo-Expansion areas as well as the impact of immigration in today’s world.
