GES 3215 - Mapping Archaeology

3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)

We will use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to produce maps of archaeological sites, view the archaeological record from new perspectives, reconstruct past landscapes, perform spatial analysis on artifacts, and ask spatial questions of past human behavior. Meets with ANTH 3215 and ANTH 5215.
