CS 4100 - Compiler Design I

Underlying theory and design techniques for compilers. Lexical analysis, top-down and bottom-up parsing algorithms, runtime storage management, syntax directed translation schemes, intermediate code generation. Approved for Compass Curriculum requirement: Summit. Prer., CS 3160 with a grade of “C” or better; CS 4700 or CS 5700 with a grade of “C” or better. College of Engineering students only. Meets with CS 5100. Course typically offered: Fall, Spring
