COUN 5960 - Psychopharmacology

This course will provide counselors with a foundation in psychopharmacology to work effectively with clients taking psychotropic medications and to collaborate with prescribers. Content will include basic neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, history, efficacy, and current standards of pharmacotherapy. Prer., Graduate Students Only or consent of instructor. Meets with COUN 3040.
