COUN 5840 - Advanced Techniques and Evidence Based Practice

This course examines advanced techniques and research related to Evidence-based practice (EBP). The exploration of EBP will be placed within the context of the Common Factors (CF) as they relate to counseling outcomes. Students will also be introduced to the concept of practice-based evidence and will evaluate their own counseling sessions. Prer., Must be admitted into the MA in Counseling & Human Services program or consent of instructor.
