COUN 5570 - Advanced Play Therapy

1 Credits (Minimum) 1 Credits (Maximum)
An overview of the essential elements and principles of counseling children and adolescents primarily utilizing play therapy, including history, theories, modalities, techniques, applications, and skills. Significant emphasis will be placed on the treatment of child and family trauma following war, natural disaster, and other crises. Prer., Graduate Students Only; COUN 5100 and COUN 5020 or instructor consent.
