COUN 5140 - Child & Adolescent Counseling

3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
This course provides an exploration of counseling approaches to working with children and adolescents from a developmentally appropriate perspective. Topics: theories, counseling interventions, and strategies for children and adolescents, play therapy, cultural and ethical considerations when working with children and adolescents. Prer., Must be admitted into the MA in Counseling & Human Services program or consent of instructor.
