ANTH 3180 - Archaeology in the Public: Heritage Law, Ethics, and Community Engagement3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
Explores the role of government and public opinion in cultural resource legislation and ethics. Students will gain hands-on exposure to documenting and evaluating resource significance and will explore ethical considerations, descendant community engagement, cultural patrimony, and tribal rights. Prer., ANTH 1020. Meets with ANTH 5180.
