CRJU 6500 - Criminal Justice Study Abroad3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
This travel course explores the historical and contemporary issues, practices, and policies of the criminal justice system in the destination country. Students will have the opportunity to explore significant historical locations within the destination country’s criminal justice system, hear about contemporary criminal justice programs and policies, interact with criminal justice practitioners and community members in a global context. Through a combination of pre-departure lectures and on-site tours students will gain an understanding of the historical, social, and legal approaches to crime in the destination country. Prer., Instructor Consent Required. Graduate and nondegree graduate students only.
