WEST 4130 - ’The Fog of War’: Memory, Trauma & the US Cultural Imagination

This course features a range of US authors, artists and filmmakers from various ethnic backgrounds, who explore the topic of war. Focusing on the theme of identity, it highlights the intersectional nature of socio-cultural categories such as race, class, nationality, gender, sexuality, & ability. Approved for LAS Cultural Diversity requirement. Prer., ENGL 1310 or equivalents and ENGL 1410. Sophomore standing required.
