CS 4320 - Software Design

Covers methodologies and tools for design of sequential, parallel and distributed software systems. Design language; graphical design representations. Data abstraction, data dictionaries. Data flow design and diagrams. Object-oriented design. Documentation. Team project in the design of a system. Prer., Knowledge of modern programming languages, discrete structures, CS 1450 or GDD 2200 with a grade of “C” or better or equivalent. Recommended: CS 3300 or equivalent. Meets with CS 5320.
