ANTH 4420 - Museums and Meaning

Students will critically evaluate the ways in which anthropology museums make meaning through practice. We scrutinize how museums can (mis)represent culture. We will focus specifically on issues of voice, narrative building, representation, authority, decolonization, and sensitivity. Approved for LAS Cultural Diversity requirement.
