SOC 4380 - Globalization and Development

3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
This course provides a multi-level examination of globalization, investigating the forces that influence this phenomenon and their effects on people, societies, and the world at large. Approved for LAS Global Awareness requirement. Approved for Compass Curriculum requirement: Inclusiveness (Global/Diversity); Sustainability; Writing Intensive. Prer., Must have 60 credit hours completed. Meets with SOC 5380 and WEST 4380. Course typically offered: Spring
