PADM 3951 - Resilience in Nonprofit Leadership3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
Exploration of the vast well of nonprofit leadership theory that helps build resilience among nonprofit workers, including board, staff, and volunteers. The course equips students with tools and techniques to build, manage, and reinvigorate a nonprofit organization. Essential topics include empathic and adaptable leadership, growth mindset, confident and controlled communication, compassionate personnel management, and organizational development tools to promote community building and mission-centering work.
