MATH 3650 - Introduction to Scientific Computation3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
Introduces advanced computational techniques with applications in mathematics, science and engineering. Topics include numerical linear algebra, dynamical systems, elements of Fourier analysis, including the DFT and FFT method, machine learning tools and applications in science and engineering. Prer., MATH 3130 or equivalent and MATH 2650 or equivalent programming experience; Coreq., MATH 3400; or consent of instructor.
