SOC 5170 - Advanced Statistics and Methods

Designed to prepare students with advanced statistical techniques including multivariate linear regression and regression diagnostic, generalized linear models, survival analysis, as well as models for panel and hierarchical data. This course uses Stata to analyze large-scale survey data. Prer., SOC 3170; Prer., SOC 5070 or Coreq., 5070. Meets with SOC 4170.
