COUN 5410 - Measurement and Appraisal3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
This course provides a comprehensive study of educational and psychometric theories and approaches to appraisal, data collection and evaluation methods. Validity and reliability of instruments, psychometric statistics, variables influencing appraisal and interpretation of test results will be addressed. Ethical use of measurement instruments, multicultural considerations, and strategies for consultation will be included. Prer., Must be admitted to the Masters in Counseling and Human Services program.
