ACCT 6200 - Internal Auditing

3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)

This course will study internal audit objectives, processes, and reporting. Topics include internal audit standards, internal controls, risk assessment, risk-based audit procedures, documentation, and communications. Students will also study fraud detection and prevention, ethics, and evaluation of the IA function. Prer., ACCT 4600 with a grade of “C-” or better or ACCT 6600; MSA, MBA or Graduate Accounting Certificate students only.
