FILM 4253 - Almodovar

3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
Course focuses on the evolution of the films of Spanish filmaker Pedro Almodovar. The manner in which this innovative auteur has treated a variety of conceptual and formal issues will be examined, as will his vision of the cultural and social transformation of Spanish society from the early 1980s to the present. Meets with SPAN 4253 and FCS 4253.
