GRK 3020 - Intermediate Classical Greek II3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
Students complete advanced grammar and syntax concepts while reinforcing previous lessons. Readings include selections from Demosthenes, Eurypides, Plato (from Phaidros and Protagoras), and Herdotus’ Histories. The cultural-historical foci are citizenship, women’s lives, revenge, purification, and tragic vision. Completion of this course meets the prerequisite for any further Greek literature courses. Prer., GRK 3010 or equivalent.
