SPED 3004 - Self-Determination and Transition3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
This course presents self-determination and development, implementation, and evaluation of self-management instructional programs for students. Service delivery models, issues, and intervention approaches are examined in light of efficacy research. Emphasis is upon using self-management and learning strategies to facilitate self-determination. Fifteen (15) hours of field experience is required. Prer., SPED 4021/5021, SPED 4025/5025. Coreq., CURR 5304 or SPED 4013, and SPED 4010/5010.
