GEOL 4660 - Field Study in Geology

4 Credits (Minimum) 4 Credits (Maximum)
Field-based inquiry of geologic features in and around Colorado. Emphasis of course is to enhance understanding of the geologic and tectonic evolution of the western U.S. and its paleontological resources. Course fulfills the capstone requirement for the Geology Minor. Course fee required (varies). Approved for LAS Natural Science area requirement. Approved for Compass Curriculum requirement: Summit. Prer., GEOL 1010, and either GEOL 1020 or GEOL 1530. Meets with GEOL 5660.
