The word ΓÇ£SurrealismΓÇ¥ was coined by writer Guillaume Apollinaire in 1917. Surrealism was ΓÇ£truth beyond realism.ΓÇ¥ In the 21st century, how do we embrace Surrealism in cinema, art and literature? How do we discover its artistic significance in light of imagination and digital technologies? Prer., Students must complete FILM 1000 or have permission from the instructor.
