CYSM 4700 - Cloud Computing & Security3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
This course introduces students to underlying technologies and concepts of cloud computing. It explores fundamental principles, architecture and technological mechanisms of cloud computing. Students will learn about cloud security threats and how to defend against cloud-specific cyber-attacks. The course will evaluate various cloud delivery models and discuss business value of cloud computing. Students will gain hands-on experience with in-demand cloud applications and tools. Prer., INFS/CYSM 3500 or INFS/CYSM 3750.
