MUS 1010 - Music Theory I

Covers the basic building blocks of music, including overtones, rhythm and meter, scales, chords, harmonic progression and beginning four-voice part writing. The development of written and aural skills is the highest priority. Required for the music minor. A placement exam will be given the first day of class.
