The study of the interaction between financial markets and the Federal Reserve Banking system. Emphasizes the conduct of monetary policy to encourage economic growth and stability. Topics include interest rates, inflation, the money supply and the influence of these variables on the business cycle. Not available for credit to students who have completed FNCE 4500.
