CHEM 5860 - Biochemistry Laboratory3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
Lab. Designed to provide laboratory skills and techniques. Experiments are selected to demonstrate principles and application of current techniques and the use of instrumentation. Spectrophotometry, enzymology, centrifugation and electrophoresis are stressed. Students will read primary literature articles and prepare oral presentations or written projects. Prer., CHEM 4810 or CHEM 4830, or BIOL 3020 and CHEM 3300 or CHEM 3310. Meets with CHEM 4860, BIOL 4860 and BIOL 5860.
