Students seeking a minor must complete a minimum of 22 hours in sociology, at least 12 hours of which must be upper-division courses (3000 or 4000 level).

The remaining 12 hours should be chosen according to the student’s academic interests and goals. Students may consult with sociology faculty to identify courses that best address their academic and professional interests. Students are encouraged to consider the capstone sequence, SOC 4980 and SOC 4990.
