The BS is biochemistry is designed for students wishing to pursue careers as professional biochemists or attend graduate schools in biochemistry. The BS degree requires a minimum of 56 credit hours in chemistry. No more than 60 credit hours in chemistry may be counted in the 120 credit hours required for the BS degree.
