Graduate Certificate in Gifted and Talented Education

This 25 credit hour certificate prepares teachers at all levels to enhance their teaching methodologies in Gifted and Talented (PK-12) education.
The certificate will require 3 credit hours of practicum work. To receive licensure endorsement from the Colorado Department of Education, the candidate must complete the certificate requirements and pass the GT Praxis Test.
All courses are offered in a convenient format and will transfer into the Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Gifted and Talented endorsement.
The Gifted and Talented Certificate has been approved by the University of Colorado and the Gifted CORE (5.06) Endorsement has been approved by the Colorado Department of Education and the Colorado Department of Higher Education.

Gifted and Talented Coursework: 25 Credit Hours
All courses apply to the Gifted and Talented Certificate.
Added courses MA Curriculum and Instruction 6 Credits
To earn the MA Curriculum and Instruction with the Gifted And Talented endorsement, students take the additional 6 credit hours in addition to the Gifted and Talented Certificate courses.
