Visual Arts Minor

The Visual Arts minor requires a minimum of 18 credit hours of VA course work and a minimum of 9 credit hours of upper-division (3000+ level) VA course work. All courses must have a C- or better grade.

Course Requirements

The following two required core courses must be completed before enrolling in any 2000/3000/4000-level Visual Art courses.

VA 1010 - Beginning Studio-2D or
VA 1040 - Beginning Drawing
and
VA 1020 - Beginning Studio 3D
One 2000-level VA course
9 credit hours of upper-division (3000+ level) Visual Art electives in one media
