Lecture. Topics include control of metabolic pathways through transcriptional and post-transcriptional mechanisms, macromolecules; nucleic acids, metabolism of nitrogen-containing compounds; biosynthesis andfunction of macromolecules including DNA, RNA, and proteins; biochemistry of subcellular systems; and special topics.
