WEST 3020 - Autobiography and the Creation of the Self3 Credits
Designed to introduce students to the manner in which identity has been conceptualized in terms of race/ethnicity, gender, class, sexuality, cultural heritage and notion. The manner in which artist and authors from various backgrounds have positioned themselves as subjects within both their own communities and within dominant society will be considered.Prerequisites: WEST 2010 or WMST 201 or EST 201
