Introduces concepts, terminology, and algorithms of operating systems. Describes semaphores, processes, virtual mappings, interrupts, resource allocation and management, protection, synchronization, scheduling, queuing and communication as applied to operating system design and implementation.Prerequisites: C S 206, C S 208, and C S 420/520.
Meets with C S 450.
