NURS 789 - Primary Care of Families Practicum1 to 9 Credits
This clinical practicum is a lab course designed to offer the Family Nurse Practitioner student an opportunity to implement skills and knowledge obtained in family focused theory courses. This practicum focuses on the application of comprehensive assessment, intervention, and preventive care for families in various primary and specialty health care settings.Prerequisites: NURS 610, NURS 611, NURS 612, NURS 628, NURS 673, and NURS 674. All immunizations, NP malpractice, CPR license must be submitted and current prior to course beginning date Meets with NURS 784.
